After graduating Gale Anne Hurd joined New World Pictures as executive assistant to Roger Corman. In 1982 she formed her own production company, Pacific Western Productions and joined forces with James Cameron (director) to create box-office hits The Terminator, ALIENS, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, and The Abyss. She is the executive producer behind Armageddon, Alien Nation and Tremors. Gale Anne Hurd is also the Vice Chair of the Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowship at the Motion Picture Academy. More recently (2002) she produced the exciting teen film Clockstoppers co-starring Adventure Inc's Michael Biehn. She was the driving force behind the inception and production of Adventure Inc., basing the series very loosely on the exploits of a personal friend, Barry Clifford -- a renowned explorer. Born on 25 October, 1955 in Los Angeles, California, USA. Married three times, she has a daughter by her second husband, Brian de Palma.
